Our Goal
Keeping within the vision, goal of this project is to build all the physical infrastructures within 5 years and develop the religious, cultural and touristic requirements, within project scope, in the next 6 years so that the development helps unfold the hidden jewels of Rumjatar re-establishing it as a major centre of attraction for the people around and resonating the slogan of fame “Ghumiphiri Rumjatar. “
Main Objectives
The immediate objective or target is to build and architecturally magnificent Gumba in Rumjatar based on Mahayana Sect of Buddhism.Objectives to build the Bouddha Gumba Project in Rumjatar include the following:
- To revive the original culture and tradition of Gurung community in Rumjatar.
- To establish Rumjatar as a Buddhist Cultural hub in the eastern region of Nepal, and
- To help promote Rumjatar as a centre of attraction for tourism development in the eastern region of Nepal, specifically the hilly Sector.
